3/22 Friday 北美台灣工程師協會 Women Summit
NATEA 北美台灣工程師協會預計在 3/22（週五）5-8pm 舉辦一個線上講座 Women Summit，邀請在科技/工程/科學/教育領域的女性領導人以panel的形式來對主題做分享，目標受眾是女性（或是對議題有興趣的所有人），精神導師 Ginger Tsun 也是 Panelist！響應今年聯合國UNICEF慶祝國際婦女節主題「Invest in Women」，本次活動第一個 panel 主題是 Supporting women through mentorship and community building。
本次政大校友會展卷社將由蔣軍帶領我們做一次美國音樂探索之旅。 從美國鄉村西部音樂發源地 Nashville 到Memphis，再沿著 Mississippi River 直到美國爵士樂的發源地 New Orleans，對美國音樂文化做較深一層的認識。 他將和大家分享他的插畫，音樂城市的壁畫，經典歌曲，以及Hank Williams、Dolly Parton、 Elvis Presley Louis Armstrong 和現在最熱門的 Taylor Swift 的事！蔣軍夫人，女作家及政大校友張燕風，也將同台介紹兩人美南音樂探索之旅的所見心得，並剖析南方音樂之內涵。
2023 年，除了母校及各地校友會提供精彩音樂性節目外，母校鎮校之寶雄鷹籃隊 (Griffins) 孫秉宏執行總 Stanley 旅途中親自上線，並提供三聯霸紀錄片，分享他們奪冠的歡笑與淚水， 令人動容。
有感於近日【韓流】風靡全球。 所謂 「K-POP」超越語言隔閡，以音樂藝術得到各地共鳴，在21 世紀有何特殊意義？對社會文化有什麼影響？很榮幸邀請到 Yale Sociology Professor Grace Kao 高玉蘋教授（她是黃埔軍校校友會故高文俊創會會長，及本校友會于愛珍前會長的女公子）。她從 Sociological and Cultural 角度，親自上線替我們解析 「K-Pop」韓流現象對世界樂壇的衝擊，她的課「Race and Place in British New Wave, K-Pop, and Beyond」, 在耶魯大學一位難求。因為時間限制，高教授特地濃縮精華，在當地夜間十一點多（加州時差三小時），以十多分鐘的時間，為音樂雅集帶了知性及聽視覺兼俱的饗宴。萬分感謝！

This is a leisure walk on a paved trail. It has 2.75 miles one way. We will see the space-ship shape campus of the recent popular and famous chip giant NVIDIA in this trip. The whole trip is rated easy. 可以俯瞰 NVIDIA Campus 喔！

注意事項：Bring a signed wavier form, a light jacket, sunglasses, hat, and plenty of water.
We will gather at the Alameda Creek Staging Area and walk on the left band of the creek into the Coyote Hill Regional Park. We will not climb the steep slope of the Park, but walk along the coast line of the Park to make it a leisure walk.

主辦單位熱情接待，多日行程毫無冷場：肉骨茶宴、雲頂高原纜車及遊樂園，現任政大校長李蔡彥也出席「與校長有約」介紹母校現況，並表達對拓展全球校友聯繫網的期許。在多場活動中，團長毛莉莉、副團長王莉莉代表政大致詞分享校友會歷史與現況，獲得參與校友的讚賞。我們亦於多日活動中播放音樂雅集合唱曲：「秋蟬」、「親愛精誠一家人」、「What A Wonderful World」和「The Prayers」，並邀請全球校友會參與年底「線上歲末音樂雅集」活動。我們以北加合唱團姜靜芬音樂總監、李文珠活動總監，及全體團員為傲。

8/13 職涯規劃社舉辦了一場 Resume Review Live Session，主講人林錦秀前會長擁有傳授多年科技公司的管理經驗，幫助校友撰寫出吸引眼球的履歷表，提高面試回 Call 率。
現任會長鄭名雯的 Meetup 於 8/26 舉辦實體的 networking & hangout，一共吸引了超高達 26 位校友和台清交校友交流，交換職場酸甜苦辣。同一團體將於 9/10 (週六)線上舉辦「工作之餘，如何從零開始打造副業並開啟創業第一步？ How to Start Your Own Business from scratch ?」。有興趣的校友歡迎線上報名參加。報名連結點此。

Date/Time : 1:15 p.m. on 9/23/2023 (Saturday)
Meeting time and place: At the Dry Creek Staging Area at 1:15pm.
What to bring: A singed Waiver Form. ( You can download one here. http://www.ncuaanc.org/nccuaa-nc-waiver-form/), Plenty of water. (Snack is suggested.), A hat and jacket. (It is windy at the ridge.), Dress comfortable with sport shoes.
We will start at 1:30pm, and take about 30 min. to visit the Meyers Cottage and Dry Creek Garden to watch the seasonal flowers. We then walk on the Meyers Ranch Trail towards Jordan Pond. If we have time, we may walk in the Garin Regional Park and visit its visitor center to see the exhibition of the life of the pioneer farmers at this region. After that, we will take the Ridge View Loop to the Lower part of High Ridge Loop back to the parking lot.
This whole trip is less than 5 miles with a very gentle slope climbing. The max. elevation is just about 400 ft. It is rated as an easy trip.
