It is a leisure walk on the left band of Alameda Creek from Union City Blvd. towards the Alameda Creek Vista Point. It is an easy trip with no climbing, paved trial and about 7 miles round trip.

Meeting Place: Mineral Springs Parking Lot (the last parking lot)
Start Time: 1:30pm
We will meet at 1:15pm at the last parking lot of the Alum Rock Park at the end of the road. We will start at 1:30pm towards the Mineral Springs, then take the Sycamore Switchback Trail uphill to South Rim Trial. Continue the South Rim Trial back to the Parking lot. This loop trail is about 3 miles with 658ft elevation.
(This park has lot of beautiful sceneries in this season. You might arrive earlier to have picnic there and take pictures.)

Parking and Meeting Place
After you get in the park entrance, stay on the road driving about 10 minutes to the last parking lot. It is in front of the Youth Science Institute. Parking fee is $6.
What to bring:
- A signed wavier form
- A jacket, since it might be windy.
- Leisure dressing and make sure to bring sturdy shoes as there is a lot of loose dirt and rock.
- Water and snacks.

We will walk along the salt ponds. Back and forth about 5 miles. No climbing, easy and relax walk.

– A light jacket (It is at the seashore, and will be windy.)
– Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. (It is no shade there.)

Difficulty: 4 on a scale of ten being the most difficult.
Directions: 280 North, 35 North, Left turn on Sharp Park Road, Right turn on Francisco Blvd, Left turn on Montecito Ave, Left turn on Beach Blvd, the parking lot is on the left hand side along the Sharp Park Beach.

Meeting Place: Trailhead at 35 Clarendon Road, Pacifica, which is right before Beach Blvd let turn into Clarendon Road. Please use the restroom on Pacifica Pier before the Meeting Time 8:20am. Parking info: It can park 30 cars.
Restroom info: One at the trailhead on Pacifica Pier, the other on the way to mid-point.
Weather info: Dress warm in layers, windbreaker, hat, no shade
Equipment: Mask, Trail Running shoes or Hiking shoes, Trekking poles, 3-4 bottles of water, snacks

Hiking : Alameda Creek Trail to Coyote Hill Regional Park

Meeting Place : Alameda Creek Trail Staging Area, Union CityThis is our 1st hiking event in 2020. We will start from an easy one.
We will meet at the Alameda Creek Trail Staging Area on 1:15pm. From where we park, we will walk to the south band of the trail for 1.7 miles accessing to the Coyote Regional Park. The whole route, back and forth, is about 4.5 miles.
What to bring:
– A signed waiver form

– Plenty of water
– Sunglasses, hat. (100% no shed)
– Use sunscreen.
– A spare light jacket. Would be very windy at the bay shore.- Leisure walk, comfortable dress.

It is a leisure walk from Baylands Park to Levis Stadium. The whole trip is about 5 miles.
This is the park which we held our annual BBQ event. We will meet at 1:15pm at the main parking lot of the Baylands Park, which is at the right hand side of the main entrance. The parking is free in this season.

九月健行 2019-09-29 (Sun) Hiking : Leisure walk at San Mateo seashore (*** New Event Date ***)
We start from Seal Point Park at San Mateo City, and walk on the Bay Trail to the Baywinds Park at Foster City. It is a leisure walk along the seashore. The whole trip including back and forth is about 4 miles.
We will meet at the parking lot with a restroom of the Seal Point Park at 1:30 pm. It is at your left-hand side after drive in the park entry.

We will only hike the last section of the Alameda Creek Trail toward the seashore. It is a leisure walk without any climbing. The whole trip including back and forth has around 6.8 miles.
There are several staging areas for this trail. Please use your GPS or map for the staging area of 34988 Eastin Dr, Union City, CA 94587. Parking is free there.
What to bring:

- A jacket, since it might be windy at the seashore.
- Hat and sunscreen lotion; there is limited shade in the whole trip.

Hiking 4/27/19 Sunol Regional Wilderness
4/27/2019 (Sat) 1:15pm to 5:30pm
Hiking at Sunol Regional Wilderness,
We will meet at the cross bridge at the back of the picnic area, next to the Visitor Center at 1:15pm. We will start at 1:30pm from the Indian Joe Nature Trial uphill to the Cave Rock Road. From Cave Rock Road, we hike to the Cerro Este Road, then downhill to the famous Canyon View Trail. After we reach the McCorkle Trail, we walk down the hill and walk back to parking lot. The whole route is about 5.6 miles with some gentle uphill climbing.

Please note that people had been wrongly directed by their GPS to somewhere else before. Please read the directions below to check the suggested route of your GPS. Also, there is no phone signal after you enter the Park.
· There is a $5 per car entrance fee to this Park. Ask and get a map at the entrance.
· Parking spaces at Visitor Center are limited. You can drive ahead and there is a big parking lot at your right hand side. It is across the road opposite to our meeting place.

Directions to reach The Park
· From the Fremont area:
Drive north on I-680 and exit at Calaveras Road. Turn right on Calaveras and proceed to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park.
· From the Oakland/Berkeley area:
Drive east on I-580 to the junction with I-680 in Pleasanton. At the junction, go south on I-680 and exit at Calaveras Road/Highway 84 just south of the town of Pleasanton. Turn left onto Calaveras Road and proceed to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park.
· From the Walnut Creek/Danville area:
Go south on I-680 and exit at Calaveras Road/Highway 84 just south of the town of Pleasanton. Turn left onto Calaveras Road and proceed to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park.
