首先報告近況。

4/23/2017 :   at Foster City 的Boothbay Park 我們順利完成了一年一度的烤肉大會。

那一天風和日麗。約有近百位出席。每位工作人員都盡心盡力,不止把烤肉烤得香噴噴，更與好多年軽校友充分交流。在洪讀及洪鳯沼學長姐及毛莉莉學姐和許多學長見証下，新一期、2017-2018 會長及理事會接下棒子。

同時我們很榮幸的邀請了幾位非常優秀的同學，經過理事會核定程序加入理事團。

4/30/2017:  理事會在會長家中召開第一次會議。 理事分工小組請參考以上資訊。

5/20/2017:  返校參加政大90慶典。北加州政大校友會組了一個小團。共有十名。分別參加了5/19 晚宴，5/20 早上慶祝會、5/20 午宴，下午的校友回娘家、及5/20 晚宴。毎一個慶祝活動都隆重有序，又充滿了親愛精誠的氣氛。十分感人。

5/21/2017:  本會張蕙玫及黃詠梅並參加了故宮南苑的一日遊。當天節目非常豐富。可說是滿載而歸。

6/2/2017:  本理事會應情況所需，在慎重討論決議下，全體16位出席理事一致表決把一位言行有偏差的理事暫時停權。此舉是本會成立以來前所未有之事。目的是為了全體理事運作和諧，互相鼓勵。同時更為了校友會長期會譽及成長。

    這是一本研究美國逐漸歩入岐途而多國在後傾全力挑戰追趕的重要著作，首版於 2011 年，展卷社早已注意到它，當川普成為美國總統後，我們已不能再等，必須向大家來介紹這本書。 本書以謙和冷靜的態度從歷史、政治、經濟、教育等各層面詳細剖析自冷戰結束後美國逐步脫離正規的原因與經過，最後提出勒馬改革的建言。全書深入探討美國的思潮與心態，卻絶不諉過他人，更不攻擊他國爭先圖強的努 力。這是一本完全講美國的書，卻以中國作為全部論述的起點，中國在書中一再出現，對我們來說讀完內心相當糾結，相信你也會有同感。美國往後的興衰太重要，它在今天的不是將由我們的子孫在日後付出代價。我們將向你提出全書的綱要，也會盡量留下時間供大家抒陳心得，這是一個群體的論壇，在博大的主題前，你我理應互為師生。到時盼望見到你，我們會為你留位子：

Alameda Creek Trail    

Gathering time : 1:15pm (7/8/2017)      Start time: 1:30pm

Meeting Place : Niles Staging Area parking lot at Old Canyon Road, Fremont.

We did not have any hiking activity in May and June.  We will have one in early July.  It is a leisure walk about 6 miles with no slope climbing.  We start at 1:30pm and should finish it before 5:00pm.

We will start from the trail head at Niles Staging Area. We walk along the south band of the trail to reach the Sequoia Bridge, then enter to the Quarry Lake Park.   We walk along the lake side and exist from the south entrance of the Park, then cross the Sequoia Bridge return to the Staging Area. 

 What to bring:

a.      The signed waiver form.  (you can download one from http://www.ncuaanc.org/nccuaa-nc-waiver-form)

b.      Plenty of water, snacks.

c.      Hat, sun glass, sun screen, a light jacket.

d.      Leisure dress should be fine; hiking boots are recommended, but hiking pole is not necessary.

  Directions :

a.      If you are from I680 south bound, take the CA84(Nines Canyon Road) towards Fremont. Before the Mission Blvd, turn left to the Old Canyon Road.  After the bridge across the creek, the parking lot is at your left hand side. 

b.      From I680 north bound, take the CA 238 (Mission Blvd) exit. Turn left to Mission Blvd. west.  Turn right at the Niles Canyon Road.  Less than half mile, you need to turn right to Old Canon Road.  After crossing the bridge over the creek, the parking lot is at your left hand side.

c.      Hayward and Fremont local, take the 238(Mission Blvd), turn to Niles Canyon Road.  Less than half mile, turn right to Old Canon Road.  After crossing the bridge, the parking lot is at your left hand side.

d.      From I880 south bound, from Oakland, take the exit of Mowry Blvd.  Drive all the way down to Mission Blvd., turn left at Mission Blvd, then right to the Niles Canyon Road.  Less than half mile, you need to turn right to Old Canon Road.  After crossing the bridge, the parking lot is at your left hand side.

e.      From I880 north bound, from Milpitas/San Jose, take the exit of Stevenson Blvd. Drive all the way down to Mission Blvd., turn left to Mission Blvd. Turn right at the Niles Canyon Road.  Less than half mile, you need to turn right to Old Canon Road.  After crossing the bridge, the parking lot is at your left hand side.

Place : 上海  (將由政大上海校友會負責主辦)

—預定參訪行程包括:上海城市觀光、西塘水鄉探古,以及多處旅遊名勝任君選擇,如四季勝景的黃山、人間天堂的蘇杭、文化都城的北京、夢裡老家的婺源、山水怡人的麗江等。

—此外,籌委會將特別安排一趟尋根之旅—走訪南京政治大學舊址「紅紙廊」與第二檔案室。

—嘉年華會的正式晚宴則訂於2018年4月21日登場,內容精彩可期 ！
